Art Con app (iOS)
For questions or concerns regarding this policy email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Art Conspiracy is the sole owner of any personally identifiable information collected by the Art Con (iOS) app. We only have access to information that you voluntarily provide, such as when registering to be an artist or volunteer. We do not sell or rent personally identifiable information. We do not share personally identifiable information with any third party outside of Art Conspiracy, other than is necessary to fulfill a request, such as buying an event ticket or purchasing art.
If you have allowed notifications in the Art Con app, we may notify you about things such as upcoming events, artist and volunteer calls, and app updates. Notifications are sent using anonymized tokens and devices are not user-identifiable. To modify Art Con app notifications for iOS, go to:
Settings > Notifications > Art Con
If you're an Art Con artist, you can access data we may have about you by replying to any Art Con text using the word 'artist'. You'll receive a unique URL response allowing you to view or edit your artist record.
Only Art Conspiracy executives and board members who need information to perform an event-related task (designing labels, producing slides, badges, etc.) are granted access to artist and volunteer record data. The servers on which we store artist and volunteer data are maintained in a secure hosting facility on encrypted drives (EAR).
The Art Con app uses Firebase and Facebook SDKs to provide app functionality like delivering notifications and handling Facebook Graph requests. These SDKs also record certain app 'events', such as how many users have installed the app, or the amount of time users spend using the app. iOS version and iPhone model information (iPhone 8, iPhone X, etc.) is also gathered and used to help inform future app development. None of the information gathered by the Firebase SDK or Facebook SDK is user-identifiable.
The Art Con app contains links to third party sites, such as event and ticketing websites. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of such sites. We encourage our users to read the privacy statements of any other site that may collect personal information.
Certain Art Con app features, such as saving an artist 'favorite', may require an iCloud account. For users already logged into iCloud (most users), these features will work as expected. If for some reason a user has logged out of their iCloud account and tries to use one of these features, they will be prompted to log back in. Most features in the Art Con app do not require an iCloud account. Any record data saved to a user's iCloud account is restricted to that user and inaccessible to Art Conspiracy.
